GO BACK New Century Connects Alumnus to
Production Funding

Connecticut based New Century Writer Awards annual not-for-profit writing competition, as operated by New
Century Cinema Group, has connected 1998 award alumnus Lisa Kors to investor financing for her independent feature DINNER AND A MOVIE.

Kors makes her debut as a feature director with DINNER, best described as “Woody Allen on estrogen,” which chronicles an idealistic documentary filmmaker named Katie as she’s coerced into making a PBS piece on dating. Principal photography began September 8th in Massachusetts.

The cast includes Paul Bartel (EATING RAOUL), Anita Gillette (MOONSTRUCK), Tony Award winner Lynne Thipen, and up-and-comers Maryann Hagan (FRIENDS, LAW&ORDER), Mike Dooley (SEX IN THE CITY, LAW&ORDER), and Dave Gibbs (SEINFELD, BEVERLY HILLS 90210).
