New Century Writer Awards party at the Sundance Film Festival.

Sam Adams/The Boston Beer Company was the exclusive sponsor of the New Century Writer Awards celebration at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19th at the QuickSilver, in Park City, Utah.

Present were Lisa Lindo Lieblein of ACME talent & literary, actors, producers, directors, film marketing professionals, buyers & distributors, crew members from numerous films debuting at the festival, and special effects technicians from the recent films CONTACT and Academy Award winning TITANIC.

In all, 250 industry people enjoyed a long evening of conversation, dancing, and merriment! Everyone got to "kick back" and serve up their own entertainment thanks to the generosity of The Boston Beer Company.

The purpose of the New Century Writer celebration at Sundance was to introduce the not-for-profit writing awards program to the Hollywood and independent filmmaking industry people who gather each year in Park City to discover new talent.

Door gifts for guests included the 1998 New Century Writer Awards pocket calendar. The calendar was so popular we ran out!

The gourmet foods for the celebration were donated in-part by Campagne Specialty Foods, of Park City, Utah.
